The Nissan Juke Shiro
Nissan are switching up their top-of-the range Juke model.
Replacing the limited edition Nissan Juke Kuro, 2012 sees the UK launch of the new Juke Shiro.
The Juke Shiro is a yin-yang shift for Nissan, moving from the sleek Kuro, black in Japanese, to the fresh Shiro, meaning white.
Distinctive white finishing
The Nissan Juke Shiro is completed with a range of sophisticated white touches, discreetly announcing its range topping status.
Inside, the distinctive Nissan Juke motorcycle-inspired central console is white in the Shiro, with matching door panels and window switch surrounds.
Now the leather wrapped steering wheel and upholstery is finished in white stitching.
Another stand-out touch is the new double layered seat design, with a white colour visible through the perforated leather upholstery.
Comfort, style and practicality are combined in the Nissan Juke Shiro?s leather covered central armrest. Trimmed in white stitching, it also doubles as a convenient, discreet storage compartment.
Other luxury elements include chrome-plated sill protectors for the front doors and Juke-branded floor mats.
The outside is as good as the inside
The Nissan Juke Shiro distinguishes itself from other models in the range with its dark grey 17 inch alloy wheels and a stylish satin silver finishing on the door handles.
It also introduces an exciting new exclusive colour option, Nightshade, a glamorous and appealing deep aubergine.
Engine choices
Nissan have made all three Juke engines available for the Shiro, including the turbocharged 1.6 190PS DIG-T.
Pricing
As expected, the Nissan Juke Shiro?s pricing slots in above the Tekna grade.
It?s available to purchase, lease or finance (subject to status) from ?17,695, and Nissan expects to make the first UK deliveries in March.
Like all the other Nissan Jukes, the Shiro will be manufactured at Nissan?s Sunderland plant.
The popularity of the Juke, over and above predictions, selling 22,000 vehicles in the UK alone, helped take the Nissan plant to its highest ever production figures of 480,485 last year.
