The annual Grand Prairie ISD College Night, held Wednesday night at South Grand Prairie High School, attracted more than 2,000 students and parents interested in high education.
With 148 colleges, university, proprietary schools and faith based colleges represented, students got to talk with recruiters from local schools to colleges as far away as Oregon, Massachusetts and Florida. Several nationally recognized and prestigious schools were on hand.
Also present were representative from the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Marines, and the National Guard.

Dual Credit -- How to Earn College Credit in High School
AVID - Making College Dreams a Reality
Phyllis Borton, GPISD Career & Technology Counselor, said, ?My goal was to have something for everyone, and I think we met that goal.?
